Auto-Report Plugin (coded by allejo)

The Auto-Report Plug-in (Coded by Allejo) ... some of us know what it is, some of us had used it before.

But, did you know that the auto report plugin is coded by allejo. Thanks to allejo, he made this wonderful, extremely useful plugin for the GU League, he also created more plug-ins for us in planet mofo.

The autoreport plugin's code is located at: https://github.com/allejo/leagueOverSeer

What is this auto-report plugin?

The auto report plugin is a plugin that allows official matches of the league to be reported automatically and sent to www.guleague.org, the official website for GU League. You see, this is extremely, extremely useful. If you are a new player, before the plug-in, there was a system made called "reporting to a referee." Two teams match. There's a winner. The winner then reports the official match via gu league mail or in the game itself to the referee. The admins made a players list of referee and cops. You can send them a mail to the referees, cops, or admins when reporting a match. Those guys would then "submit" those results in the website. Then, the site calculates all the ELO stats, ELO changes, rankings etc etc. This was time consuming for both sides of the equation. The winners have to first look for a referee, or email a referee of the matches' time, duration, teams, and score. The referee then needs to check his/her mail daily/often and submit that in the GU League site. Allejo thought of a great idea to make this a simpler process. The project originally started in 2012, but it wasn't known and not a lot of activity was happening. It wasn't until mid 2013 when the project was much more popular. After many, many beta testings, bug testing, and days where it worked (those days were awesome) and days where it didn't, the plugin was installed in to the server: bzbg 62 and a few others. It worked for close to a month, it was extremely useful as mentioned before. That was until it broke. After a few months of repair, as of 2014, the plugin is working perfectly and is implemented on almost all servers.

Specifically, how useful is the plugin?

We all know the plugin is useful, but do we have stats on how many times it has been used?
As of right now when this post was posted, within the last 10 days, the most recent 36 matches, all matches were reported by "autoreport" That's an amazing number.

I would like to give so much credit toward allejo for supplying the league the gift of the auto report ability. It's programmers like him that make the league a much more fun game to play.
